It's been a while since my last update. Since then, here's what has transpired:
- The manuscript received a positive peer review, with only minimal changes recommended.
- On the strength of the peer review and following my response to it, the board of directors of the University of Michigan Press approved the book for publication.
- I submitted a revised manuscript. The book is now in copy edits and pre-production.
- Target publication date is December 2024!
